Founded in 1978, Alpha Data Systems created Boat Track as the first and only order management and warranty management software system designed specifically for boat manufacturers. The first to use our software was Chaparral Boats nearly twenty years ago. Over the years the software was enhanced and updated and sold to dozens of manufacturers. Today, many well-known boat builders use Boat Track as an integral part of their overall information technology needs.

In 2012 Alpha Data Systems was purchased by T3 to form an integrated information technology company specializing in manufacturing and medical software, and managed IT services. In 2014 T3 made the decision to reinvest in the Boat Track line of software to modernize the code making it easier and faster to update, enhance, and deliver to customers. The software is now sold as SAAS (software as a service) meaning that users no longer have to purchase high-cost licenses and on-premise servers to run the software. The software can now be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection, and for an affordable monthly subscription cost. No long-term contracts are required.
